[2010-04-07] BOXX WINNER OF THE RPC2010

At 10h01AM on Wed 7Apr 2010, BOXX crosses the finish line first and wins the 380nm Round Palagruza Cannonball. At the same time, this sets a new record time for the course.

Thanks to the incredible team: Aljaz Jadek, Andraz Mihelin, Kristian Hajnsek, Tomaz Copi, Screco Jadek, Pierre Aeschlimann.

BOXX wins infront of the other Class40, Concise, now owned by Celox Racing team and lead by Austrian top sailor Andreas Hanakamp.

It was a challenging race with strong winds allowing incredible downwind surfs up to 25knots (almost 50km/h for the non sailors), a very wet and long high speed reaching section between Palagruza and Mljet as well as one long upwind course back to the finish line.
